A Coaching Culture

We have terrific skills and talents amongst employees at all levels. It is important that we release as much potential and capability as possible. Not only are our employees asking for this but we as a business need to find ways of empowering our people and ensuring that there is 100% commitment and support to the business plan, customer service values, and our people principles.

To do this each manager needs to be a coach for his or her team members and to encourage the team to share skills and experience with each other. Whilst training courses have value, recent research is telling us that there is a significant increase in productivity when coaching is involved.

We work to develop our teams, customers and colleagues and we provide as much feedback as possible on how our people are performing. There will be feedback from direct and indirect managers through the performance review process.
