Training Services

Air New Zealand Airline Training (ANZAT) has been providing training services to its parent airline,
Air New Zealand and 3rd parties for more than 60 years.


Over this time ANZAT have amassed a wealth of knowledge, technical staff and training resources enabling the in-house training of pilots, maintenance engineers, flight attendants and other airline staff needed to support an airline.

ANZAT has two training centres, located in Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand and employ more than 120 training professionals. Facilities include 40 visual/audio equipped classrooms, 5 practical workshops, 5 training aircraft located in 2 dedicated maintenance training hangars, an emergency procedures/cabin training facility, 6 Full Flight Simulators and briefing rooms, and 5 dedicated computer rooms.

Aircraft Maintenance - take the flight of your life

ANZAT also provide training to school leavers or others wishing to enter the aviation industry. Options are available to train to become an aircraft maintenance engineer, flight attendant or for positions in the customer service areas of an airline.
